FOA's goal is to impact as many students as possible, so grade-specific funding requests may not meet this criteria. If needed, a separate fundraiser for that grade can be requested and presented to the Local School Council.
Funds from your tax-deductible donations support the following
• Enrichment programming and staffing
• Aide staffing where most needed
• Technology upgrades
• Instructional materials and curriculum
• Continued expansion of Makerspace
• School improvements and maintenance
• Support for Alcott students with the most need
• After school elective programs and sports
• Student community-building events such as dances and field trip support
FOA also hosts many community-building events throughout the year.
