Upcoming Events

Monster Mash Middle School Dance
October 17th, 6:30-8:30pm

We’re summoning all current Alcott Middle School students (grades 6-8th) to our annual Monster Mash Dance! There will be pizza, treats, games, prizes, costume contest, photobooth and DJ! Come dressed in your best costume, but leave your full face masks, weapons, and inappropriate costumes at home.

All middle school students attending will need a permission slip signed by their guardian, linked HERE

We encourage students to leave their cellphones at home for this event so they can interact with peers and have a ghastly good time! Departure plans can be made ahead of time and phones will be available as needed.

Brought to you at no cost by Friends of Alcott. Email [email protected] with questions!

Community Outreach

Over the holidays, dozens of necessary household items including beds, kitchenware and toiletries were distributed to several families in need. They were overcome with emotion at your generosity and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We will be on the lookout for anything else they may need as they get settled in Chicago and will reach out again when they could use our help.
